Hilarious and totally engaging for young children from the very beginning... the best children's theatre I have ever seen.
- Chris Haughton, author
George sees something in the kitchen.
It’s cake! I said I’d be good, George thinks, but I LOVE cake. What will George do? Oh No, George! is the delightfully playful tale of a dog who wants to be good but just can’t resist temptation. Adapted from the award-winning picture book by Chris Haughton, this brand new show for everyone aged 3+ uses acrobatics, slapstick comedy and live music to bring George’s chaotic and joyful escapades to life.
tail-waggingly good. |

COVID-19 announcement
|
Following the outbreak of Covid-19 and the ensuing lockdown in the UK, we were sadly unable to complete our planned tour for Spring 2020
However, YOU CAN'T KEEP A GOOD DOG DOWN! We were determined to share this show with our audiences who, like George, were now confined to their homes with nothing to do. Thanks to our friends at Pavilion Dance South West, Wiltshire Creative, Pound Arts, Take Art and Half Moon we were able to do this, with a whopping 3000 people tuning in - many more than would have been able to experience it at the theatre! Our Artistic Director, Catherine Boot and George's creator, Chris Haughton, also took part in a post-show chat following the streamed show at PDSW. Take a look to find out more about the value of watching live performance from the comfort of your own homes. |
We also wanted to take a moment to say that we have loved creating and touring this show, and feel deeply lucky to have been given the opportunity to do so by ARC, Stockton, The Civic in Barnsley, Arts Council England, Chris Haughton and Walker Books. Thank you so much to the audiences who have joined us so far either on tour or from the comfort of your own living rooms. We are planning on re-touring the show in Autumn 2021, visiting the venues we weren't able to get to and more! If you are a programmer who would be interested in booking the show, please see the tour pack at the bottom of the page.
a fantastic adaptation which vividly brings the book to life and elevates it into something even more engaging.

fun, colourful, true to the original picture book whilst adding its own inventiveness. The movement is outstanding ...
It’s our best-selling Feb half term show to date, exceeding targets and generating a huge amount of positive audience feedback.
